The award winning Corona chair was designed by Poul M. Volther in 1962. It is known by many Americans as the Captain's chair in the Star Trek television series. It's sculptured form combines aesthetic appeal with superb comfort. The concentric shapes on the backrest can also be used as armrests. A chromed flat bar sprung steel frame and 4-star base supporting four graduated elliptical seat and back elements. Composed of four graduated elliptical cushions with upholstery on a cast aluminum frame and swiveling pedestal steel base.
Upholstered with fixed covers (Fabrics or leather).
